Love Doves - Motif
This project was inspired by Frankie Welch and her bold use of motifs in her print & pattern design. These doves and their accompanying motifs were hand drawn and printed onto hand dyed cotton yardage in 3 colorways and were edited and revised into a final bandana design. I love this work because it was my first foray into screen printing, I was able to incorporate multiple aspects about textile design that I really enjoy.
