Athens In Bloom - Triptych

This work was inspired by everything I love about springtime in Athens; blooming flowers, nights around a table with friends and seeing classic Athens landmarks in a brand new way. These pictures walk through my process, starting with color and sampling new techniques. In these pieces, I was able to hone my skills in things such as creating a repeat pattern in illustrator, marbling, and hand drawing and printing an Athens-inspired Toile de Jouy.
